The Same Soul - Different Frequency is a fashion editorial project commissioned by Faith Love Hope Magazine. Photographed and art directed by Illya Ovchar, the series explores themes of stillness and structural minimalism, utilizing the coastal landscape as a backdrop. The work centers on a series of character-driven portraits that contrast crisp, tailored menswear and intricate lace garments against the expansive, cool-toned blue of the sea and weathered concrete surfaces. Technically, the project leans into a desaturated aesthetic, with the execution drawing on natural light and the subtle interplay of shadow and texture. The editorial features hair styling by Marom Tal Winshenk, which complements the moody, atmospheric tone of the compositions. Through a blend of monochrome and color photography, the project emphasizes sculptural forms and tactile detail.
