Streetside is a fashion editorial project featuring model Maartje Convens, showcasing a collection of structured, 1960s-inspired silhouettes. The project leans into retro styling through architectural tailoring, including belted skirt suits, tweed ensembles, and glossy textures. Photographer Alexandra Alvarez Garcia documents the series across both controlled studio environments and urban settings. The production utilizes a range of lighting techniques, from high-contrast hard light to balanced monochrome soft light, emphasizing the sculptural details of the garments. Styling by Barbara Loison coordinates period-specific accessories, while hair stylist Ryoji Imaizumi and makeup artist Camille Lutz contribute to the cohesive, mid-century aesthetic.
