Description
Sisters from Schema Magazine is a fashion editorial series that explores portraiture through a restrained, monochromatic lens. The project captures models Achol Becky and Ateta Jok in a range of interior settings, moving between the sharp geometry of tiled walls and the softness of draped textiles. Photographer Alessia Gunawan utilizes high-contrast low-key lighting and natural light to emphasize texture and silhouette. The work relies on a moody, analogue-inspired aesthetic, supported by hair styling from Anastasiia Tymoshchuk and makeup by Jennifer Le Corre. Casting for the series was directed by Lylia Bokele.
