Pose / Dada

Feb 2026
Pose and Dada emerge as a masterclass in avant-garde visual storytelling, pushing the boundaries of luxury fashion editorial through a lens of raw, experimental surrealism. Under the precise creative direction of Daniel Roseberry, the project collapses the distance between fine art and commercial imagery, utilizing a sophisticated collage technique that feels both tactile and futuristic. Photographer Alina Gross captures these high-fashion portraits with a razor-sharp eye, leaning into studio strobe lighting to emphasize the interplay between high-contrast, saturated color palettes—predominantly vivid reds, electric blues, and metallic golds—and the ornate, sculptural jewelry that defines the subjects. By integrating 3D render and CGI elements alongside traditional photography, the series creates a layered, dreamlike atmosphere where human features are obscured or replaced by whimsical, dadaist motifs like floating eye icons, anthurium flowers, and gilded prosthetics. The styling by Vadim Galaganov ensures that every garment serves as a canvas for this abstract exploration, allowing the models to inhabit a space that is as much about conceptual design as it is about fashion. With production led by Elena Serova, the execution feels meticulously curated, resulting in a cohesive portfolio that successfully challenges the static nature of standard editorial work by embracing a maximalist and inherently provocative aesthetic that demands the viewer linger on every intricate, torn-paper detail.
