Neighborhood Places is a fashion editorial series that explores the relationship between architectural environments and fluid, avant-garde apparel. Through a minimalist lens, the collection juxtaposes raw industrial concrete and woodland backdrops with structured, layered garments, emphasizing sculptural silhouettes and movement. Photographer Yulia Plakhotnikova employs soft natural light and a muted colour palette to maintain an observational, candid tone throughout the project. The work utilizes clean vertical compositions and subtle texture-focused techniques to ground the high-fashion aesthetic within familiar, everyday settings. Certain frames incorporate analogue film and grainy textures to further enhance the raw, unvarnished quality of the subjects.
