Head to Top is a visually arresting fashion editorial project that masterfully explores the symbiotic relationship between sartorial choices and graphic design. By bridging the gap between high-fashion portraiture and experimental typography, the project channels a sharp, avant-garde aesthetic that feels both deliberate and surreal. Photographer Félix Dol-Maillot captures a series of striking, high-key portraits where subjects are transformed into canvases; hair is dyed, shaved, and patterned to perfectly mirror the intricate textures of knit sweaters and vibrant plaid garments. Stylist Emmanuelle Ramos leans into this cohesive visual language, ensuring that everything from bold leopard prints to hand-painted polka dots serves as an extension of the subject’s own identity.
