Echoes of self, a fashion editorial for Vakuum Magazine, focuses on sculptural silhouettes and high-contrast styling. Photographed by Simran Kaur, the project leans into a series of outdoor, urban settings—ranging from textured brick walls to weathered industrial asphalt—that serve as a stark canvas for vivid, layered attire. The series makes extensive use of hard natural light to sharpen the lines of the garments and emphasize the interplay between architectural geometry and organic form. Techniques such as analogue film and flash lighting are integrated across the frames, lending a raw, tactile quality to the imagery. The styling highlights a contrast of volumes and metallic textures, consistently paired with pointed footwear and deliberate, contemplative posing.
