DEW Magazine “Future Bloom”

Apr 2026
The Future Bloom editorial series for DEW Magazine serves as a masterclass in urban fashion storytelling, masterfully juxtaposing the raw, industrial grit of city life against the polished precision of high-end design. Through the lens of photographer Ivana Micic, the project explores the interplay between human form and structured environments, utilizing natural light to elevate the subject’s presence within these stark, concrete-heavy landscapes. Model Yuki Beniya brings a dynamic and versatile energy to the series, shifting fluidly from introspective, moody portraiture in dimly lit alleyways to gravity-defying poses perched atop textured walls. The styling is elevated by the intricate hair artistry of Keita Higashi, whose choice of vibrant, high-impact hair color creates a striking visual through-line that cuts through the monochromatic and utilitarian tones of the garments. By balancing structured pieces from luxury labels with an unconventional, editorial lifestyle approach, the series avoids the static nature of traditional lookbooks. Instead, it leans into a layered narrative where industrial textures like corrugated metal and coarse concrete serve as the perfect foil for fluid silhouettes. This is a collection that feels both grounded and aspirational, showcasing how thoughtful composition and a distinct creative vision can turn a simple street-level backdrop into a compelling, sophisticated stage for modern luxury fashion.
