Description
Captured by photography duo Arran & Jules, this editorial project documents a winter landscape in Austria. The series balances portraits of model Lois Schindeler with architectural studies of alpine infrastructure, utilising a mix of monochrome and natural-light colour photography to explore the textures of the mountain environment. Techniques such as analogue film and heavy grain are employed throughout the collection to emphasise the tactile quality of the snow, knitwear, and forest flora. The imagery leans into a retro aesthetic, framing the rugged terrain against both traditional chalet settings and industrial ski station structures.
