Arxipelag Magazine’s Lacuna editorial project presents a series of contemplative visual studies exploring the intersection of organic form and geometric structure. Through a minimalist lens, the collection balances stark architectural lines with intimate, raw portraiture and nature-focused macro photography. Photographer Matthias Leidinger employs analogue film techniques and hard light to create a high-contrast aesthetic. The imagery moves between the intricate, tactile patterns of botanical veins and the abstract interplay of shadow and negative space on textured surfaces, unified by a disciplined, monochromatic visual language.
