ANDRON JOURNAL - ANXIETY

Description

In Andron Journal - Anxiety, the intersection of corporate identity and psychological unease is distilled into a striking visual narrative. Through a series of highly composed editorial images, the project navigates the tension inherent in modern professional life, utilizing the rigid geometry of urban architecture to frame a recurring sense of displacement. Under the creative direction of Kaner Kivanc, who also serves as the project's fashion editor and stylist, the work leans into a distinct cinematic aesthetic that elevates office attire into a language of symbolic vulnerability. Photographer CG Watkins captures these themes through a lens of surreal minimalism, often employing natural light to highlight the juxtaposition between sharp, towering glass skyscrapers and the strained, expressive faces of model Stanislav Pliasulia. The imagery frequently utilizes a high-contrast, low-key lighting technique, juxtaposing the cold, monolithic surfaces of the city with the intimate, sometimes disorienting presence of metallic orbs and paper airplanes. By blending lifestyle photography with conceptual portraiture, the project creates a sense of professional friction that feels both timeless and urgent. The result is a sophisticated exploration of how the built environment mirrors internal pressure, rendered with a crisp, editorial precision that makes every frame feel like a deliberate, suspenseful observation on the nature of modern anxiety.
