Abstract Functionality is a photographic editorial series that examines the intersection of form, light, and geometry. The project features a sequence of macro still life compositions that document the interplay between polished chrome surfaces and translucent glass vessels. Photographer Lucie Rox captures these objects through a lens of precise minimalism, utilizing soft lighting to emphasize optical refractions, crystalline patterns, and subtle shadow play. Art direction by Lucie Matussiere and set design by Céline Corbineau ground the series in a restrained palette of muted pastels and cool tones, maintaining a consistent, refined aesthetic throughout the study of fluid contours.
