Description

In the Seated editorial project, Town & Country embraces a refined approach to high fashion, centering on the intersection of structural minimalism and ornate, tactile details. Under the lens of photographer Tina Tyrell, the campaign leans into a deliberate, sculptural aesthetic that elevates luxury fashion houses to the realm of modern art. Fashion editor and stylist Dania Ortiz creates a striking visual dialogue by pairing delicate, sheer textiles and floral embroidery against the rigid, grounding presence of bold accessories and architectural accents. The project utilizes studio strobe lighting to emphasize the material richness of each look, from the metallic shimmer of gold fringe to the fibrous, suspended tassels that define the frame. Set designer Desi Santiago complements this focus by employing organic, vibrant pedestals and clean backdrops that allow each garment to take on an almost statuesque quality. By incorporating live-action technique and varied portrait compositions, the imagery avoids traditional stillness, instead capturing a quiet, rhythmic energy. With hair styling by Wesley O'Meara providing a polished finish, the series effectively merges classic editorial minimalism with a playful, contemporary edge. The resulting aesthetic feels both curated and experimental, proving that even within a highly controlled studio environment, the tension between dark palettes and punchy, saturated colors can create a lasting, sophisticated narrative for the modern luxury consumer.
