Captured for V Magazine, "To The Manor Born" is a fashion editorial series that explores high-contrast silhouettes and intricate textures through a series of formal, estate-inspired compositions. Photographer Alvaro Beamud Cortes utilizes natural light and analogue film techniques to frame a collection of avant-garde and structured garments against both heritage architecture and controlled studio backdrops. The project channels a refined, moody aesthetic, with styling by Gro Curtis that emphasizes dramatic headwear, heavy layering, and clean, sculptural forms. Featuring models Karyna Maziar and Baptiste Vivo, the series alternates between expansive outdoor estate grounds and opulent, ornate interior settings. Supporting the visual narrative, hair styling by Mijo Majhen and makeup by Annabelle Petit lean into a high-fashion, polished sensibility that highlights the tactile quality of the diverse fabrications.
