Around Town is an editorial fashion series for Tidal Magazine that documents urban style through a minimalist, sculptural lens. The project captures models Dari Niko and Maya Tuffin against city backdrops, emphasizing the interplay between architectural geometry and high-volume silhouettes. Shot entirely in direct, high-contrast natural light, the series leans into the tactile quality of the wardrobe, featuring oversized ruffles, fringe, and structured draping. With hair styling by Anike Rabiu, the editorial maintains a clean, graphic aesthetic, utilising the hard shadows of midday sun to accentuate the depth of the fabrics and the scale of the city environment.
