Captured for The Greatest Magazine, this menswear editorial series presents a series of character-driven portraits featuring model Elias Monstrey. Photographer Hein Gijsbers utilizes both raw flash and analogue film techniques to frame Monstrey across a variety of settings, ranging from minimalist studio setups to textured urban environments in Paris. Fashion editors Marie Cheiakh and Marie Siwarcheiakh anchor the project’s aesthetic, curating a mix of oversized tailoring, textured knitwear, and tactile leather pieces. Makeup artist Natsuki Oneyama provides grooming, while the photography leans into the physical qualities of the medium through visible sprocket borders and grain, emphasizing a raw, candid perspective on contemporary menswear silhouettes.
