Surfacing is an editorial series for The Gentlewoman, featuring model Annemary Aderibigbe in a collection of minimalist fashion portraits. Photographed by Marius Uhlig, the project navigates a series of controlled environments, shifting between stark, graphic studio compositions and sun-drenched outdoor settings. The imagery leans into tactile textures, often utilizing deliberate juxtaposition between structured leather, sheer lace, and voluminous shearling to define the visual narrative. With production led by Sylvia Farago and set design by Haleimah Darwish, the editorial maintains a restrained, clean aesthetic. The technical execution prioritizes high-contrast monochrome tones and soft, diffused natural light, emphasizing sculptural silhouettes and precise posing. Additional creative contributions include casting by Ben Grimes, hair styling by Pål Berdahl, makeup by Crystabel Efemena Riley, and manicurist Trish Lomax.
