The Face Magazine presents Gross, a series of surreal editorial portraits that explore tactile sculpture through a lens of raw, gritty aesthetics. The project features a collection of fantastical busts characterized by exaggerated facial expressions, textured skin, and vibrant, layered styling. Captured by photographer Luke Abby, the imagery leans into an artistic, grain-heavy style that emphasises the intricate surface details of each figure. Set designer Gary Card contributes to the project’s distinct visual language, creating complex, layered environments and sculptural elements that define the series' focus on texture and form.
