The December 2025 special issue of The Cut features an expansive fashion editorial captured by photographer Szilveszter Mako. Under the creative direction of Editor-in-Chief Lindsay Peoples, the project leans into a minimalist, monochrome aesthetic, utilizing structured architectural sets designed by Lane Vineyard. The imagery employs clean, soft lighting to emphasize sculptural silhouettes and high-fashion garments. The editorial features styling by Jessica Willis, with hair by Panos Papandrianos and makeup by Raoul Alejandre, while manicures were provided by Leanne Woodley. The series creates a theatrical, diorama-like quality through the use of specific set design, including olive-toned alcoves and graphic patterns, balancing vintage-inspired coiffures with contemporary sartorial shapes.
