About

INTUITION is a high-contrast fashion editorial series that leans into minimalist, monochromatic aesthetics. Photographed and creatively directed by Joaquin Castillo, the project explores geometric forms and texture against stark urban backdrops, utilizing weathered brick, corrugated metal, and coarse asphalt to ground the subjects. The imagery features fashion styling by Jahulie Elizalde and hair styling by Ruby Howes, who implement a uniform look across the models, characterized by blunt dark bobs and structured black silhouettes. Shot on analogue film with an emphasis on hard, natural light, the series captures both group portraits and individual poses, highlighting the interplay between reflective latex and sheer hosiery textures.
