Description
This documentary piece highlights the preservation of the ancient Ed Mahzor manuscript, a project supported by the TEFAF Museum Restoration Fund. The film features Per Knutas, Head of Conservation at the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, as he examines the delicate, aged parchment in a museum setting. Captured with a cinematic, desaturated aesthetic, the project utilizes a live-action technique to provide a close look at the restoration process. Production for the piece was led by Toby Jacobs.
