T: The New York Times Style Magazine explores the architecture of winter tailoring in the 'Coats' editorial series. Photographer Michael Hauptman and fashion editor Sasha Kelly capture the collection through a blend of controlled studio work and rugged, outdoor portraiture. The project leans into moody, chiaroscuro lighting and multiple exposure techniques to highlight texture and form. Featuring models Lamine Seck and Oscar Fishman, the editorial contrasts structured overcoats and layered knitwear against both stark, black-background studio setups and expansive, cloudy landscapes. Set design by Dylan Bailey and hair styling by Junya Nakashima support the series' restrained, surreal aesthetic. The production was overseen by executive producer Kalena Yiaueki, with casting by Zach Turkson.
