D Repubblica SOMETHING QUIRKY ABOUT MYSELF 2026

About

SOMETHING QUIRKY ABOUT MYSELF is a fashion editorial series produced for D Repubblica. Captured by photographer Sam Copeland, the project leverages natural light and a mix of clean and desaturated palettes to frame model Kira Alferink across various outdoor urban and garden environments. The series leans into avant-garde styling, featuring a combination of textured apparel, structured tailoring, and unconventional accessories. Notable details include sculptural hairpieces, silver body paint, and complex layering. With set design by Tristan Tilagone, the project experiments with static portraiture and textured environmental backdrops. Creative direction is further supported by fashion stylist Ioana Ivan, hair stylist Pablo Kuemin, makeup artist Kyle Dominic, and casting director Piergiorgio Del Moro. The imagery employs both clean digital aesthetics and the distinct grain of analogue film techniques.
