Searchlight Pictures: A Complete Unknown Final Trailer (Custom Music)

May 2025

This final trailer for Searchlight Pictures' A Complete Unknown offers a glimpse into the film's narrative through a series of dramatic vignettes. The promotional sequence highlights the journey of the lead character, played by Timothée Chalamet, as he moves through bustling urban environments and intimate interior spaces. Produced by WILDCARD CREATIVE, the trailer utilizes cinematic framing to bridge the gap between high-energy public sequences and moments of introspection. The edit leans into contrasting light environments—pairing warm indoor glows with moody, atmospheric street lighting—to establish the period setting and immersive visual tone. Sound design for this custom trailer was provided by The Crystal Creative, further grounding the live-action technique and horizontal visual composition.
