Citizens Of The Reef is an editorial project commissioned by Robb Report, documenting field conservation efforts and marine exploration. The work leans into a documentary aesthetic, capturing the scale of reef ecosystems and the collaborative activity of the research team aboard a luxury vessel. Photographer Damian Bennett employs a range of techniques, utilizing natural light and analogue film to create both monochrome and warm-toned imagery. Creative director Justin Woo guides the visual narrative, which moves between candid group interactions and expansive underwater photography. The project highlights the intersection of luxury maritime travel and environmental observation, framed by clear marine settings and deliberate, observational compositions.
