Dreams and Memories, Alive in the Same Way is a sprawling fashion editorial project for Report Magazine that explores the intersection of surrealism and minimalist studio portraiture. Photographer Jeffery Jones adopts a diverse visual language, oscillating between high-contrast monochrome studies and moody, low-key chiaroscuro compositions that lean into the abstract and the ethereal. Fashion editor and stylist Mauricio Quezada anchors the aesthetic with a focus on structured tailoring and tactile materials, from voluminous quilted outerwear to glossy leather and operatic velvet gloves. The imagery frequently employs soft-focus diffusion and lens refraction to create a dreamlike quality, while deliberate motion blur and organic still-life elements add a painterly layer to the editorial narrative. Key creative contributions include hair styling by Chika F.K and makeup by Nana Hiramatsu, who elevate the atmospheric tone through precise grooming and defined beauty looks.
