Puss Puss Magazine
Silent Light

Apr 2026
Silent Light for Puss Puss Magazine serves as a masterclass in editorial minimalism, stripping away the extraneous to focus entirely on the architectural relationship between garment and form. Shot through the lens of photographer Claudia Knoepfel, the series navigates the intersection of luxury fashion and high-concept portraiture, utilizing a restrained palette to elevate the tactile quality of the textiles. By employing a careful balance of studio strobe and soft, diffused natural light, Knoepfel creates a rhythmic, consistent aesthetic that places the subject in a state of suspended animation. The project leans into the structural mastery of fashion editor and stylist Daria Di Gennaro, who curates a narrative of layered silhouettes—from voluminous leather biker jackets to intricate, paper-like fringe—that command space against stark, neutral backdrops. Model Lonneke Te Kloese anchors the work with a composed, deliberate presence, allowing the interplay of shadow and texture to define the visual language. With the vision of Editor-in-Chief Maria Joudina-Robinson, the editorial feels both timeless and sharp, emphasizing the interplay of form and negative space. The resulting imagery is a refined study in high-fashion storytelling, where every fold, stitch, and cuff is captured with profound precision, ultimately proving that the most powerful statements in luxury fashion are often those rendered with absolute, quiet clarity.
