Portraits is a collection of editorial studio photography captured by Riccardo Dubitante. This project explores the human form and facial expression, leaning into a classic aesthetic defined by grain, earthy tones, and dramatic, directional lighting. Each piece utilizes a neutral backdrop to emphasize the subject, incorporating varied textures to ground the visual narrative. The series prominently features models George Okeny and Meadi Ojulu, whose portraits are shaped by hair styling from Erisson Musella and makeup by Serena Congiu. The project employs analogue-style film techniques to achieve its distinct finish, blending clean studio framing with a moody, chiaroscuro-informed sensibility.
