Numero Netherlands: Where the city ends

Date

May 2025

Description

Where the city ends is a fashion editorial for Numero Netherlands that explores the intersection of structured tailoring and rural, atmospheric environments. Photographed by Frederik Ruegger, the series features model Tim Schuhmacher in a variety of outdoor settings, ranging from sparse orchards and dense woodlands to intimate vehicle interiors. The project leans into a classic, cinematic aesthetic, utilizing a monochrome palette and analogue film techniques to emphasize texture and form. By juxtaposing tailored garments against weathered fences, open fields, and rustic props, the photography creates a contemplative and slightly surreal visual narrative. Editor-in-Chief Timotej Letonja oversees the production, which consistently utilizes natural light to frame its subject across both horizontal and vertical compositions.
