Urban Solitude is a fashion editorial series produced for Numero Netherlands, capturing the interplay between high-fashion silhouettes and the nocturnal rhythm of the city. Photographed by Stockton Johnson, the project leans into a cinematic, moody aesthetic that utilizes monochrome and low-key lighting to define the structural qualities of the wardrobe. From empty subway platforms to rain-slicked scaffolding, the imagery explores a quiet intensity within the urban landscape. The series features a range of avant-garde and textured styling, with hair by Erin Piper Herschleb and makeup by Charlotte Willer. The creative execution balances the use of sharp flash photography with natural light and analogue film techniques to build a sense of introspection. The final collection functions as a study of movement and isolation, framed against the backdrop of an active, glowing cityscape.
