For 'The Ointment,' a fashion editorial produced for Numero Netherlands, photographer Abel Trujillo crafts a series of intimate, domestic portraits that lean into textured, analogue aesthetics. The narrative-driven imagery moves through varied indoor settings, contrasting high-fashion apparel with the quiet, mundane details of a traditional bedroom and living space. The series features model Patryk Tytro in a range of carefully curated looks, from structured tailoring and neutral-toned trench coats to layered knitwear. The composition prioritises clean lines and warm, natural light to highlight the juxtaposition between sharp fabric textures and soft, domestic backgrounds like striped wallpaper and patterned upholstery. Creative collaboration was central to the project, with makeup by David López and casting direction by Dailos Ramos. The work maintains a consistent, introspective mood, anchoring the editorial in a grounded, earthy atmosphere that feels both candid and deliberate.
