For the March 2025 issue of Numero Netherlands, photographer Valentin Fabre and stylist Coline Bach orchestrate a masterful display of luxury fashion that thrives in the realm of the avant-garde. The editorial leans into a striking monochromatic palette and surrealism, utilizing a cinematic studio strobe technique to carve sharp silhouettes out of a void-like black background. Anchored by the magnetic performances of models Ildjima Masrangar, Lise Sauve, and Naomi Apajok, the project explores the interplay between human form and abstract geometry. Through recurring motifs—floating blue doors, disembodied gloved hands, and vibrant red spheres—the team constructs a theatrical, highly stylized visual language that feels both precise and dreamlike. The styling by Bach shines through structured, pleated blazers and voluminous gowns, creating a sharp contrast against the minimalist, high-contrast environment.
