Around And Within is a fashion editorial series featured in Numéro Netherlands, focusing on avant-garde silhouettes and structural design. The project explores form through a series of minimal, studio-based portraits that highlight exaggerated tailoring, architectural volumes, and sculptural accessories. Photographer Thanos Poulimenos uses soft, directional lighting and muted, textured backdrops to emphasize the tactile qualities of the clothing. With makeup by Marita Politou, the series leans into a surreal and conceptual aesthetic, utilizing geometric props and low-key lighting to frame the subject's silhouette. The work maintains a consistent, refined visual language, employing techniques such as monochrome grading and soft light to maintain a clean, high-fashion narrative.
