About

Nature of a Boy is a fashion editorial series for Numero Netherlands that explores the interplay between masculine identity and botanical elements. Captured by photographer Kosmas Pavlos, the project features model Leandro da Silva in a range of studio environments, utilizing dramatic low-key lighting and high-contrast monochrome tones to emphasize texture and form. With fashion styling by Laurent Dombrowicz, the imagery juxtaposes structured luxury tailoring—including embossed leather, velvet, and distressed denim—against delicate floral accents like anthuriums and gerbera daisies. The series leverages a moody, gritty aesthetic, highlighted by techniques including chiaroscuro, analogue film textures, and flash-heavy lighting to accentuate the subject's physique and detailed traditional tattoos. Editorial direction for the project was led by Timotej Letonja and Jana Letonja.
