Distant Echoes is an expansive fashion editorial for My Magazine that blends studio portraiture with landscape photography. Captured by photographer Paw Gissel, the series leans into a minimalist aesthetic, frequently utilizing diptych and collage layouts to juxtapose high-fashion silhouettes against organic, textural elements like arid landscapes and botanical close-ups. Fashion styling by Isaac Perez Solano defines the project’s visual language, incorporating 1970s-inspired silhouettes, textured leather, and tailored monochrome ensembles. The editorial features models Ambre Roumeau and Nour Oitahar Normand, with creative support from hair stylist Stephen Beaver and designer Michael Rider, who structured the series through clean typography and white-bordered layouts.
