Hora de Brillar is an editorial series for Mujer Hoy that centers on beauty and fashion portraiture. The project explores diverse cosmetic textures and palettes through a series of clean, studio-lit visuals. Photographer Charly Calderon captures model Sophie Rask across a range of intimate close-ups and full-length portraits. The work features fashion direction by Gervasio Pérez and intricate makeup artistry by Raquel Álvarez Díaz, moving between low-key chiaroscuro lighting and bright, soft illumination to highlight fine skin details and bold, graphic eye makeup.
