The Fall/Winter 2024 issue of Mixte magazine, titled 'State of Nature,' presents a series of editorial covers exploring organic textures and atmospheric portraiture. Under the creative direction of Sarah Bassett, the project features a collaborative photography approach by Justin von Oldershausen, Léa Wormsbach, and Matthieu Delbreuve. The series utilizes a clean, editorial aesthetic, relying on natural light and moody, low-key lighting setups to highlight the interplay between the subjects and botanical elements. Fashion editors Elena Psalti, Julia Quante, and Kerry Dorney styled the pieces, while hair and makeup teams including Ben Mignot, Tobias Sagner, Akari Sugino, and Sohphea Yen contributed to the finished look. Each frame integrates graphic typography to align with the magazine's visual identity.
