Michael Kors Collection
Fall 2025 Ad Campaign

Aug 2025
For the Fall 2025 ad campaign, Michael Kors Collection leans into a sophisticated, monochromatic aesthetic that reinforces its status within the luxury fashion houses sector. Captured against a blend of stark studio settings and the gritty textures of New York City’s Terminal Warehouse, the visuals masterfully navigate the interplay between high-end polish and rugged, industrial surroundings. The campaign is defined by an editorial minimalism, utilizing cinematic lighting to accentuate the tactile qualities of leather, faux fur, and sharp tailoring. Photographers Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin employ a low-key chiaroscuro technique that creates dramatic depth, casting long shadows that frame the model, Angelina Kendall, in a series of powerful, windswept portraits. Carlos Nazario’s styling brings a cohesive, contemporary edge to the collection, while the creative direction from Michael Kors himself ensures the brand’s signature elegance remains the focal point. Technical precision is evident through the use of studio strobe lighting, which highlights the structural geometry of the handbags against neutral grey backdrops. Complementing this, Orlando Pita’s work on the hair adds a dynamic sense of motion, perfectly balancing the stillness of the editorial poses. This project successfully merges commercial appeal with elevated artistic intent, resulting in a cohesive series that feels both timeless and distinctly grounded in the modern urban landscape.
