Masters Historic Racing
Brand Identity

Apr 2026
Masters Historic Racing sits at the intersection of high-octane engineering and heritage prestige, a positioning expertly captured in this comprehensive brand identity project. By blending the raw intensity of the track with a refined, corporate aesthetic, the visual system manages to elevate the motorsport experience into a House of Icons. The project leans into a cinematic visual language, utilizing studio strobe lighting and chiaroscuro techniques to transform aerodynamic carbon fiber components and sleek chassis into sculptural art. Under the sharp design direction of Braconnier, the identity utilizes clean typography and a structured star motif to unify various touchpoints, from technical FIA-certified racing suits to expansive event posters for iconic circuits like Brands Hatch and Paul Ricard. The photography, executed by Antoine Sedran, emphasizes the tactile nature of performance materials through high-contrast, minimalist compositions that celebrate the precision of automotive design. Whether showcased on a sterile studio floor or displayed as street-level event communication, the branding feels both authoritative and timeless. By stripping back the noise and focusing on the essential technical details—like the woven textures of carbon fiber and the rigorous standards of race apparel—the project successfully bridges the gap between commercial sports marketing and the storied legacy of historic racing. The result is a coherent, professional identity that honors the sport's history while feeling entirely contemporary and ready for the modern era of competitive racing.
