Libre Comme L'air is a fashion editorial series produced for Marie Claire France, captured by photographer Janne Rugland. The project leans into an evocative, wind-swept aesthetic, juxtaposing structured tailoring and intricate lace against raw, expansive landscapes. Featuring model Ashley Radjarame, the series transitions between the stark, monochrome contrasts of remote coastlines and the warm, golden hues of salt flats and grassy fields. Art directed by fashion editor Jeanne Le Bault, the styling integrates sculptural textile details—from cascading fringe and heavy leather to voluminous faux fur—with a distinct equine-inspired sensibility. The imagery relies on the clarity of natural light to define textures and architectural shadows, often utilizing an analogue film aesthetic to ground the contemporary apparel in an organic, outdoorsy environment. The production features hair styling by Brigitte Merinho and makeup by Servulo, with casting direction by Coco Liscia.
