L'Officiel Italia
Hotel Life

Feb 2026
Hotel Life for L'Officiel Italia is a masterclass in fashion editorial storytelling, transforming the mundane routines of hospitality into a rich, cinematic tapestry. Captured through the lens of photographer Frederico Martins, the project leans into a nostalgic, mid-century aesthetic that elevates the luxury fashion houses showcased within its frames. Under the vision of fashion director Giulio Martinelli and the meticulous styling of Paolo Turina, the series explores the intersection of professional service and high-end couture. The images are defined by a sophisticated use of natural light and chiaroscuro, which accentuate the intricate textures of tweed blazers, silk slip dresses, and vibrant, beaded fringe skirts. By placing subjects against wood-paneled corridors, ornate plaster reliefs, and geometric-tiled walls, the team creates a tactile environment that feels both lived-in and dreamlike. Makeup artist Patricia Lima provides a polished finish to the models, ensuring every portrait maintains a calm, elegant intensity. The resulting editorial is more than just a clothing showcase; it is a carefully composed lifestyle narrative that balances the structure of a formal hotel setting with the playful, bold silhouettes of contemporary fashion. With casting by Caterina Matteucci, the project achieves a seamless harmony between the performers and the environment, resulting in a cohesive visual language that prioritizes atmospheric depth and artisanal detail in every frame.
