The Ultimate Disguise is a fashion editorial series produced for L'Officiel Hong Kong, featuring a study of sculptural silhouettes and obscured identity. Photographed by Ramona Deckers, the project employs a minimalist studio aesthetic to emphasize the avant-garde garment construction and architectural tailoring featured throughout the feature. The series utilizes hard light and flash photography to cast distinct shadows against seamless backdrops, grounding high-fashion ensembles in a clean, graphic environment. Hair styling by Yu Nagatomo and makeup artistry by Rie Shiraishi lean into the concept of concealment, often using hair as a veil to redirect focus toward the texture and volume of the attire.
