Sombre Summer is a fashion editorial series produced for L'Officiel Hommes Malaysia, featuring model Sol Goss. The project showcases a range of contemporary menswear, captured through an editorial lens that balances high-fashion studio portraits with candid, urban-set imagery. Photographer Darío Castillo and fashion editor Victor Lopez lead the production, curating a series that oscillates between stark monochromatic studio studies and natural light portraits against architectural backgrounds. Utilizing analogue film and grainy textures, the work maintains a clean, minimalist aesthetic throughout its varied layouts. The series emphasizes detail-oriented styling, from pearl-embellished collars to playful, candid expressions.
