L'Officiel Chile: Noir Absolu

Noir Absolu is a fashion editorial commissioned for L'Officiel Chile, featuring a series of conceptual still-life compositions that juxtapose luxury accessories with industrial hardware. Photographer Gabriel Pérez Gárate and stylist Romina Morales explore the contrast between refined materials and utilitarian objects, arranging fine jewellery, watches, and designer footwear alongside elements like metal bolts, repurposed aluminium cans, and kitchen tools. The project utilizes a minimalist visual language, relying on monochrome palettes and controlled studio lighting to emphasize texture and form. Through techniques including macro photography, graphic hard-light applications, and clean chiaroscuro, the series maintains a consistent focus on geometric silhouettes and reflective surfaces.
