Noir Absolu is a fashion editorial produced for L'Officiel Chile, featuring a series of conceptual still-life compositions that juxtapose luxury accessories with industrial hardware. Photographer Gabriel Pérez Gárate and fashion editor and stylist Romina Morales explore the tension between high-end jewellery and everyday utilitarian objects through a minimalist lens. The series employs macro photography and graphic chiaroscuro techniques to highlight the textures of chrome, stainless steel, and fine metals. By pairing items like dive watches with espresso makers or silver chains with industrial bolts, the project creates a clean, architectural narrative. Each image maintains a consistent aesthetic through soft lighting and monochrome palettes, emphasizing the precision craftsmanship of the featured luxury pieces.
