Action of Becoming is a fashion editorial series produced for Le Mile Magazine. Photographed by Arden and Sergi Padial, the project explores high-contrast styling and material juxtaposition through a curated collection of portraiture and still-life imagery. The series features model Alicia Gutiérrez in a variety of sculptural and glossy ensembles, ranging from vibrant vinyl trench coats to oversized faux fur and structured gowns. The compositions lean into a minimalist aesthetic, utilizing clean, soft lighting and neutral studio backdrops to draw attention to saturated color palettes and specific textures. Beyond the portrait work, the project incorporates surreal, moody elements through intentional still-life arrangements. These captures juxtapose organic objects like cherries and vintage props with industrial and found materials, maintaining a consistent editorial visual language across the entire series.
