Working gurl is a fashion editorial series for Ladygunn Magazine that explores the intersection of high-concept styling and urban architecture. Photographed by Leire Cavia, the project captures model Yirou Zhou in a collection of sharp, structural silhouettes that play against the gritty textures of city life. The aesthetic leans into a raw, documentary-inflected perspective, utilizing natural light and an analogue film technique to emphasize the interplay between designer garments and cold, industrial environments. Fashion editor Manuel Angel Mendez Diaz curated the wardrobe, blending exaggerated tailoring and avant-garde layers with delicate jewellery detail shots. Hair stylist Laura Del Muro provides a sleek, precise finish to the styling, grounding the drama of the apparel. The series maintains a consistent visual rhythm by layering clean lines against the complex masonry and pavement of metropolitan streetscapes.
