Oceano Atlântico is a fashion editorial series commissioned for Kaltblut Magazine, focusing on the interplay between minimalist apparel and rugged coastal landscapes. Through a series of high-contrast compositions, the work explores the relationship between the human figure and imposing geological formations. Photographer Marzena Kwintera leans into natural lighting to highlight textures ranging from satin slip dresses and flowing halter gowns to the raw, weathered surfaces of sea stacks and rock cliffs. The series utilizes a mix of monochrome and warm-toned imagery to emphasize the sculptural quality of the shoreline, capturing the subject against turbulent ocean surf and wide sandy vistas.
