Jaeger-LeCoultre
Fall 2023 Ad Campaign

Oct 2023
The Jaeger-LeCoultre Fall 2023 ad campaign serves as a masterclass in luxury storytelling, masterfully blending the heritage of high-end horology with the modern sensibilities of fashion portraiture. Under the creative direction of Quentin Deronzier, the campaign discards busy motifs in favor of editorial minimalism, allowing the intricate craftsmanship of the brand's iconic rectangular timepieces to command center stage. By featuring Anya Taylor-Joy and Nicholas Hoult, the project leans into a narrative of quiet intellectualism and timeless composure, positioning each watch as a necessary companion to the refined subject. The execution employs a sophisticated low-key / chiaroscuro aesthetic, where dramatic shadow and selective illumination create a cinematic atmosphere that feels both intimate and expansive. Utilizing precise studio strobe setups, the imagery achieves a high-contrast elegance that defines the contemporary jewellery and fashion landscape. Throughout the series, the visual language remains consistent, favoring subtle reflections, thoughtful postures, and clean lines to emphasize the architectural beauty of the watches. This campaign successfully moves beyond traditional commercial photography, instead offering a series of portraits that function as a study of poise. It is a striking example of how focused, disciplined creative direction can elevate standard product placement into a compelling, mood-driven artistic statement that resonates with a discerning, luxury-oriented audience.
