This menswear project, conceptualized and designed by Taposhi Rabeya, explores the intersection of classical ecclesiastical aesthetics and contemporary tailoring. The series presents a collection of garments defined by intricate needlework, incorporating Renaissance-inspired iconography, cherubic motifs, and religious portraiture rendered in rich velvet and lace. Captured through a blend of controlled studio work and atmospheric location shoots, the imagery highlights the material richness and tactile quality of the pieces. Editorial techniques such as warm, directional lighting and monochrome treatments are used to emphasize the craftsmanship of the embroidery and the complexity of the fabric structures, including elaborate capes and structured jackets. By situating these textiles within both neutral studio spaces and traditional church interiors, the project frames its focus on historical and symbolic craftsmanship.
