This menswear project, under the creative direction of Taposhi Rabeya, presents an elaborate collection that draws heavily on ecclesiastical aesthetics and classical art history. The work centers on intricate textile craftsmanship, featuring heavy use of velvet, lace, and complex embroidery. Each piece incorporates religious iconography, including cherubs and portrait medallions, rendered in rich, saturated color palettes of blue, red, and gold. The editorial captures these garments through both static studio presentations on dress forms and environmental portraiture. By utilizing soft natural light and grainy textures, the imagery emphasizes the tactile qualities of the embroidery and needlework.
