Harper's Bazaar UK presents 'Smart Casual,' a fashion editorial series that explores the juxtaposition of elevated fine jewellery against relaxed, everyday staples. Through a lens of clean studio photography, the project pairs delicate diamond and pearl adornments with structured denim and draped textiles, creating a visual dialogue between luxury detailing and minimalist silhouettes. Photographed by Theresa Marx, the series employs soft, even lighting to highlight natural skin textures and the intricate craftsmanship of the accessories. With fashion styling by Holly Gorst, the aesthetic remains grounded in a clean palette, using studio backgrounds to focus attention on the interplay of texture, from floating feathers to classic denim stitching. The shoot features hair by Yoshitaka Miyazaki, makeup by Faye Bluff, and manicures by Ami Streets.
